How to Request a Refund
Step 1: Contact Support
Email support@empowercove.com with:
- Your order number
- The product(s) you're requesting a refund for
- A brief explanation of why the product didn't meet your needs (optional, but helps us improve)
Step 2: Processing
We will review your request and process your refund within 5 business days of receiving your email.
Step 3: Refund Timeline
Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or credit card company, the refund may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear in your account.
Eligibility Requirements
The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to:
- Customers within 30 days of purchase: Your purchase date is defined as the date you completed checkout on our website.
- Digital template purchases only: This guarantee covers all digital template products sold by Empower Cove.
- First-time refund requests: We honor one refund per customer per product.
Exclusions
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Purchases made more than 30 days ago
- Refunds requested on behalf of another customer
- Duplicate orders or orders placed in error
Special Cases
14-Day Free Trial
The 14-day free trial is complimentary and requires no payment. However, if you choose to convert to a paid plan during or immediately after your trial, your purchase is eligible for the 30-day money-back guarantee from the date you convert.
Companion Products
If you purchase companion products (Email Templates, Advanced Automations, Video Training, Financial Dashboard) alongside a core template, each product is eligible for a separate refund if requested within 30 days.
Upgrade Refunds
If you purchased a Starter template and later upgraded to Professional or Premium, the Starter purchase and the upgrade are treated as separate transactions, each with their own 30-day refund window.
What Happens After Refund
Access Removal
Upon approval of your refund request, your access to the purchased template(s) will be revoked within 24 hours. You will lose access to the template files, any customizations you've made, associated video training, and email support for that product.
Data Preservation
We recommend exporting any data you've entered into the template before requesting a refund. Empower Cove is not responsible for data loss after a refund is processed.
Exceptions to the Guarantee
Misuse or Abuse
Refunds may be denied if we have reason to believe:
- The product was purchased with fraudulent intent or payment method
- The template was shared, distributed, or resold to others
- The purchase violates our Terms of Service
